The occupier forces of the Turkish state army have been carrying out obus and mortar attacks on the Villages of Erbis, Sifreza, Petrot, Hilale and Cennet; and, the areas of Ertus and Cilo/Cukurca/Hakkari, time to time, since 10 May.

We have been following very closely the policies of the enemy on the Village-Guard system, which has a long history and activities increased again in the last two years. The Kurdish people mostly excepts to become a village-guard as a result of insistence of the enemy based on oppression, intimidation and threats. And, also some wrong approaches from us as well.

1- On 10 May at around 12:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the Sere Seve Artillary Battalion in the district of Cele/Colemerg. The action carried out by the YJA-Star Guerrilla Forces from three different wings. And as a result, at least 3 enemy soldiers killed.

1- On 8 May, our guerrillas carried out an action against operational forces of the occupier forces of the Turkish state army, whome lunched a military operation in the areas of Kato Kavale and Peyanus/Central Hakkari.
