I am trying to follow up the Hizbullah issue. How can this happen, how can they do this to Diyarbakır! How could the ones from Diyarbakır permit this to happen? They set these killers, murderers, those who monstrously murder free – they dug up people's bodies and some were found in bags – and there are celebrations held to that end! All this is taking place in Diyarbakır. Diyarbakır saw thousands of its children fall. They savagely butchered many of our youth there. I fail to understand, how this can at all happen in Diyarbakır. You have 80% of the votes in Diyarbakır then how can this happen? The people of Diyarbakır are patriotic and aware but it must be that they are not getting organized, then there is a problem in leading them!

Ceasefire extended after a letter from Ocalan

He called the Turkish government to seize the opportunity for peace and not underestimate the power of the PKK and Kurdish people. Karayilan said they have information about the level of negotiations with Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and they will have a meeting to discuss about the negotiation points in two months with fellow PKK commanders.

The Belgium government have organized a raid on the ROJ TV, which has spectators from all four parts of Kurdistan as well as the kurds living abroad, and made an operation agaınst the KNK. This attack, which has been directed against the identity and free will of the people of Kurdistan, is a continuation policy of Europe to sacrifice the Kurdish people for their political and economical interests. We condemn the state terror against the ROJ TV, which is targeted the voice of the kurdish people as well as the people and their cultures in the region, the KNK, and other Kurdish institutions. The Government of Belgium’s detention of the Chairman of the Kongra-Gel, which is the Parliament of Kurdish People, the other kurdish politicians and diplomats in this operation, is an attack nothing more than to offend and defamation of the Kurdish people. The Government of Belgium must put an end to these attacks and should release those detained immediately.

This attack, which has been developed in parallel with the political genocide performed in Northern Kurdistan by the Turkish state and the government of the AKP, has been a step to encourage the Turkish state to continue its attacks against the Kurdish people.

In the face of this act of terror ‘against the freedom of press’ and ‘right to receive news’ of the Kurdish people, our people and their friends should not, in any way, stay silent.

The responsibility of this attack, which has been carried on the basis of the request of the Turkish state in the Center of NATO of Brussels, belongs to the Belgium government and those powers behind it.

In the face of this hostile attack against the institutions of the Kurdish people, all the kurdish people living in Europe should come together in Brussels in order to increase their protests against these unfair, unjust and anti-democratic attacks and ask to an end to these attacks.

The kurdish people in all four parts of Kurdistan and wherever they are should upgrade their protests against this attack. And, we also call upon Kurdish Press to protest this, and to be in solidarity with ROJ TV.

In the face of this unjust and aggressive tendencies, We call upon all European democratic forces and intellectuals not to remain silent and should act against it.

Kurds Under The Clamp of Cultural Genocide

There were many important conspiracies against us as well; there are four different periods of conspiracy. The First Conspiracy Period is the one experienced with the murder of Özal: Özal was courageous in his approach to the Kurdish issue. He said “I must most definitely resolve this issue”. His son Ahmet Özal gives clear information on this topic. He says “my father wanted to resolve this issue once and for all”. At the time they besieged Özal and eliminated all those that were pro-solution to the Kurdish issue. Many army officers such as Eşref Bitlis, Bahtiyar Aydın and their likes were killed and eliminated just because they were perceived to be pro-solution. Talabani probably knows some important details on this topic. Talabani used to say that “we think alike with Eşref Bitlis when it comes to a resolution”.

Leader Abdullah Ocalan said that the Kurdish national independence movement is facing the fourth conspiracy. The first one was between 1992-1994, the second one was between 1997-1999 and third one was between 2002-2004. And the fourth one started after local elections of 2007 and in November 2009 it was developed by the Turkish PM himself. All these conspiracies aim at destruction of the Kurdish national movement. They also prevent a political solution of the Kurdish problem.
